After the Storm : Light at the Lighthouse
Weathering the Storm
I arrived at the coast in the middle of a storm. The sky was grey, the wind relentless, and the sea roaring with every crash. But I knew — or at least hoped — that golden hour would make an appearance if I waited long enough.
As the sun broke through, everything changed. The lighthouse at the edge of the rocky path became a beacon not just for ships, but for this moment. The sea calmed slightly, the clouds opened, and golden light blanketed the scene.
This image reminds me that light always follows darkness. Nature’s chaos can give way to serenity if you wait it out — and as a photographer, that’s half the battle: having faith in the moment yet to come.
