On the Edge : Conversations with a Cliff

The Ascent

To reach this view, I followed a narrow trail along a cliffside — not for the faint of heart. With every step, the elevation grew more intense, and the wind picked up strength. But I had studied satellite maps and knew the payoff would be worth the risk.

From the top, the canyon unfolded like a giant storybook. Rivers curved between green hills and red cliffs, telling tales of erosion, time, and natural architecture. I carefully adjusted my lens and captured the vastness before me.

There’s a certain vulnerability you feel standing on the edge of something so ancient and grand. This photo became a symbol for pushing through fear — and being rewarded with perspective, literally and figuratively.
